Now that you have completed the preliminary steps of understanding your role and the expectations for the student's clinical Capstone experience, this module walks you through the first meeting between the preceptor, student, and faculty. It also discusses the Student Sentinel Event policy.
During our clinical placement process, we work hard to link students with appropriate preceptors to give students and our nurses on the floor the best experiences possible. We receive fantastic feedback from everyone involved each semester regarding how much they enjoyed their time together!

Even when the student doesn’t get placed in their top preferred area for capstone, we consistently received positive feedback from both students and preceptors on how great the capstone experience was.
